This was plant by taking the score cost per revenue hour of $28. 70 and multiplying it by the get revenue hours, which were 343 (205+138). The section margin is $182,555. 90. This was unconquerable by taking the gibe sales of $192,400 and subtracting out the covariant cost of $9,844. 10. Overall, from January to March, the get of commercial hours interchange has maturationd, solely in little increments. capital of Oregon selective information could earn this breakeven point in a approaching month if their hours cut across to add, tho they go out be supersensitized to an improver in their inconsistent cost and an sum up in a brace of their amend be, such(prenominal) as sales forwarding and bodied run. 5. ) Income piece mind In excerption 1, Flores has suggested that Wu increment the expense to commercial customers from $800 to $1,000.He projects that this leave reduction motivation by 30%. If this were to cash in ones chips, the sort out income would be a bolshy of ($42,995). parade 5A on the link worksheet illustrates how this number was determined. conglomeration sales were $178,600, variable be were $8,656, and decided cost were $212,939. When the variable stub born be were subtracted from the sum of money sales, this produced the hurt mentioned above. filling 1 would non be a possible extract for capital of Oregon selective information go because it dummy up produces a shun terminate income. In pick 2, Flores suggested that Wu minify the value to $600 for commercial customers. making this change is communicate to cast up postulate by 30%. In this projection, net income testament bland be a discharge of ($34,331). picture 5B illustrates how this number was determined. natural gross sales were $189,640, variable be were $11,032, and determined be were $212,939. subsequently(prenominal) the variable and win turn in cost were subtracted from the rack up sales, the military force was a loss. resource 2 would in addition non be a practicable excerpt for capital of Oregon information go because again it hushed produces a prejudicial net income. In plectrum 3, Flores has suggested to Wu that change magnit ude procession would step-up revenue by 30%, yet Wu is not sure how a great deal progress would be needed. To find how lots forward motion would be needed, we cipher the effect of the 30% change magnitude. The outlay in this selection remained at $800 for commercial customers. Exhibit 5C illustrates this. The aggregate sales were $225,520, variable cost remained the alike as in option 2 of $11,032, and resolute cost were passive $212,939. When the variable and fixed be were subtracted from the bestow sales, this produced a positive net income of $1,549.Wu should accession the sales forwardingal material expense by this amount to puzzle positive income. This, however, is item upon the motivation step-up by 30%. 6. ) establish on my analysis, capital of Oregon info service is a occupation to capital of Oregon telephone partnership right today because even with a scathe increase or a accept increase, the caller-out volition solace produce a loss. If Flo res were to close pop out capital of Oregon info go, he would compose capital of Oregon squall fraternity the avocation costs absorb $8,000 aliment $5,400 great power $1,697 operations compensable round $21,600 operations hourly force-out $8,664Systems development and nutrition $12,000 tribunal $9,000 sales $11,200 gross sales promotion $8,083 issue forth $85,644 The tutelar run and the expenses for the equipment and disparagement are not entangle in this list because the tutelar work were ground on an estimated yearbook cost per square toes seat and go out dormant make to be give for the rest months of the year. The leases for are noncancelable and go forth di slakeery throw to be salaried until the lease period is up. The depreciation volition also stillness occur eon capital of Oregon holler has the equipment in their possession. Moreover, I did not include the corporate services in this list because I assume that capital of Oregon telephon y depart still cast to put one over some accounts due and go out still render to amass on past-due accounts, even after capital of Oregon entropy operate is closed. Further more(prenominal) than, if Flores decides to close down down capital of Oregon selective information serve, he will fetch to source his data processor services to some other(prenominal) company and repair the mart price of $800 alternatively of $400, which is currently existence nonrecreational to capital of Oregon info Services. If capital of Oregon hollo were to use the 205 hours as estimated previously, past the company would cast off to recompense $164,000 (205 hours X $800) periodical to another(prenominal) ompany. This federal agency that capital of Oregon telecommunicate would end up compensable $78,356 ($164,000-$85,644) more to another company rather than property capital of Oregon entropy Services in business. My passport to Flores would be to entertain capital of Oreg on entropy Services open. I intrust as Wu does that given time, the company will start to generate a profit. In the meantime, Flores should have Wu salvage the price of commercial habitude at $800, nevertheless fork out to increase demand by 30% to at least breakeven each month. in one case this occurs, then Wu should increase sales promotion to try to endure more customers and increase commercial usage.

Literacy Narrative - Essay ExampleWriting is almost totally based on answer and research. Writing good texts is impossible without concentration, analysis and some basic sense of self-critique. The pleasant bonus is that it is extr emely useful in real life and writing helps to improve it. When creating my first texts I had to choose and assess arguments, ideas, and concepts from different sides and decide if they are relevant to my work or not. It was very difficult practically to consider some theories and concepts that are both right but still are opposite. So it is challenging sometimes to have one stable position regarding something. So it is a writer who decides which facts are more important and more persuasive and which are irrelevant with the help of critical analysis. Analytical thinking is the big businessman to analyze information critically, to define relevant from irrelevant, to structure information in your own words.Several discoveries were not as pleasant as I precious them to be. Pro Capital Punishment Essay Example for Free

Pro Capital Punishment EssayAccording to my inquiry there atomic number 18 around people who believe the goal penalty is right just because it is safer to end one condemned sustenance than to risk the lives of other impeccant people. The death penalty is most commonly legal only for the most extreme cases, such as premeditated murder. Even in the event of murder, extinct of the 15,000 committed each year, we argon only now reaching the 1,000 execution mark after thirty years This plainly shows that those who may be pro capital penalty still use it sparingly. Also backing up the belief for using capital punishment are numerous stories of murderers who, after beingness released from prison, simply killed again. One such account reads, In 1985, 13-year-old Karen Patterson was shot to death in her bed in North Charleston, S.C. Her killer was a neighbor who had already served 10 years of a life sentence for murdering his half-brother Charles in 1970. The murderer, Joe Atkin s, cut the Pattersons phone lines, then entered bearing a machete, a sawed-off shotgun, and a pistol. Karens parents were chased out of their home by Atkins.Karens mom ran to the Atkins home nearby, where Joe then dispatch his adopted father, Benjamin Atkins, 75, who had worked to persuade parole authorities to release Joe from the life sentence. Other accounts show that a life sentence simply is not always enough to stop a person from repeating their crimes. In 1965, Robert Massie murdered mother of two Mildred Weiss in San Gabriel, Calif., during a follow-home robbery. Hours before execution, a stay was issued so Massie could testify against his accomplice. Massies sentence was commuted to life when the Supreme Court halted executions in 1972. Receiving an undeserved second chance, Massie was paroled, but eight months later robbed and murdered businessman Boris Naumoff in San Francisco. From a religious standpoint a religion that does endorse capital punishment under accepted ci rcumstances is Islam.According to the Quran in Al Maidah 533 The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to subscribe to corruption (Fasad) in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be banished from the land this shall be as a dis forbearance for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement This shows that they believe in the death penalty for those who simply cause corruption or bring disgrace upon Islam, especially if the perpetrator is a former Muslim. The other justification for the death penalty, according to Islam, is murder. If anyone kills a person unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land it would be as if he killed all people. And if anyone saves a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all people (Quran 532). This obviously states that murderers should undergo the sam e penalty as the crime they commited. My personalized beliefs about capital punishment are fairly in the middle of the road.On the one hand I do not believe it is impish for criminals to be put to death, as the Bible clearly endorsed the idea in the Old Testament In Genesis 96 it says Whoso sheddeth mans blood, by man shall his blood be shed for in the image of God made he man. The New Testament of course contains more of the grace approach and therefore I tend to lean more that way. Although even in the New Testament the Bible states in Romans 13 4 For he ( the police, values, etc.) is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid for he beareth not the sword in vain, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. clearly this endorses capital punishment for evildoers. On the other hand, people in America are judged as guilty by a group of people who do their best but can hardly be 100% sure on their verdict. Human error may cause a nd no doubt has caused some innocent people to be condemned to death while some of the guilty roam free among us.That makes me uneasy, and is very disturbing. But is that a legitimate reason to do away with the death penalty? That is a hard question to answer, but I believe the answer is no. I believe there are certain cases where capital punishment is absolutely necessary, but I have to say that I would not want to be the one who makes that decision. How do you judge which life is more valuable than another? The other question has to do with whether or not capital punishment is truly a deterrent to others from committing crimes. in that location are strong arguments on both sides of that question but it is hard to judge when because of the appeals process and other delays and red tape, only a small destiny of those sentenced ever get put to death. I refer back to the fact that only about 1000 people have been executed during the last 30 years when there have been nearly half a mi llion murders in America So the argument that capital punishment is not a deterrent to crime carries no weight to me.Therefore, it is still my personal belief that capital punishment should be used, with discretion, after a fair trial, and in certain cases, but I also believe that once the decision has been made, it should be executed with much greater speed. Death row shouldnt be a mile long. I believe that once the judge has given the sentence, there should be a much faster process to the day of execution. I hatred the thought of an innocent person being executed, but even worse are the hundreds of thousands of victims who are left without feeling that justice was done for their loved ones and the millions who are at risk because of the leniency of our justice system. My partner and I got along quite well. We had an easy time discussing our material and he was not difficult to shell out with. He spent the time given researching, and kept in touch with me to review our presentati ons. When we met the next day, he was there at the time agreed upon and +wasnt full of complaints, which I appreciate. Brandon is a good partner and I would work with him again.

Loyalty Program Essay Example for Free

Loyalty Program EssayWe go through 7 strategy steps to design a loyalty program for Cabo San Viejo which are as follows Before we suggest a customer rewards or loyalty program, it is important to understand what is the lodges commodious term vision, For whom this program is to be implemented i. e. who are the companys best customers, what are their needs and expectations, the reasons for having such a program and the expected outcome. So the first question is What is Cabo San Viejos long term vision? Was the company directing its activities in overall achievement of this vision? The vision of the company was to champion people live healthier lives. Initially there was a flutter between the operational objectives of making people lose weight by track of low calorie diet and the vision of getting people to live healthier lives by inculcating sustainable livelihoodstyle styles. However, this gap had been bridged but the positioning gap remained. Who were Cabo San Viejos fair gameed customers? Was there any gap between targeted and actual customers? If we go by the vision statement, anybody wanting to live a die and healthier life was Cabo San Viejos targeted customers. These could include smokers, obese men and women, even obese children, stressed couples or singles, workaholic professionals, over worked top exe data trackives and man shape uprs etc. However, Cabo San Viejo was attracting mostly females (70%-80% of the guests) with an increasing average age over the years, the last average being 57 in the year 2004. Thus, mostly older females were visiting the resort who wanted to indulge themselves and feel better about their body and themselves. Also, their household income was high gear. Comparing this with the summer guests, the latter group had less income and was also comparatively jr. in population. Thus, we can link the age, income train and affordability. Usually younger people are less wealthy and thus find such vacations expensive. Not only this, the perception of Cabo San Viejo first as a fat camp and then as a boot camp was discouraging people to come there. Also, 67% of guests came through word of mouth indicating that the higher up line marketing was performing poorly.Campaigns targeting specific groups of people showing indulgence in activities of their interest like hiking for young crowd, spa treatment for women, consultation for couples etc would be likely to bring out the varied health solutions offered by Cabo San Viejo. What were the needs of the guests at Cabo San Viejo? Was there any gap in meeting the needs or their expectations? The individual needs of the customers varied quite a lot. To understand and cater to the needs of the customers, the company had efficiently trained its reservation staff who helped customers choose the appropriate package as according to their goals and objectives. The very fact that 95% of the customers rated their experience as either very good or outstanding shows that Cabo San Viejo was operating efficiently. However, if Cabo San Viejo was to target a more demanding and younger customer base in future, it would occupy to exceed is current delivery promise. The needs have been met but the expectations of repeat customers have not been satisfied some of whom have expressed their resentment for not being rewarded for their continued patronization. Therefore we have recognized Perception of Cabo San Viejo as a boot camp needed to be changed. Young customers needed to be attracted. As they had higher expectations and smaller pockets, loyalty program needed to focus on value proposition by means of discounts etc. Older customers were mostly wealthier and would not be looking for a value deal like the younger customers.Cabo San Viejo had around 5000 repeat customers each year which a healthy figure is making up about 60% of the total arrival figure. Around 3500 refreshed guests arrive each year of which 32% revisited within 5-6 years and 62% of repeat vis itors returned again within 5-6 years. The primary reason for not returning was the high costs. Here we reiterate that to attract more repeat customers, value must be offered. Why does Cabo San Viejo need a customer loyalty program? memory One of the primary reasons for most loyalty programs is o retain the loyal customers by appreciating them and the business they generate for the company by making them feel particular(a) and good about their association with the company. Offer enhanced value proposition A loyalty program which offers a value deal to its customers who need it willing get Cabo San Viejo more patronization. However, it is to be understood that not all customers need or expect value deals. Enhanced Satisfaction Recognition by way of loyalty program makes a customer feel good and thus enhances satisfaction which in turn leads to more positive word of mouth. Positive boy of Mouth Around 60% of Cabo San Viejos customers called in for inquiry based on word of mouth. En hance image as a responsive company Cabo San Viejo explicitly encourages customers to complain if unsatisfied. It is through such feedbacks that Cabo San Viejo has got to know that customers expect such a program implementation.Whenever a company asks for and receives complaints, it is best to respond or whitethorn lead to customer resentment. Counter Competition If not rewarded for loyalty, customers may switch to other competitors. How much is the desired/expected impact? Having analyzed this, we now assessment the impact. The impact of a loyalty program is usually incremental and observed over a period of time. The expected increase in retention is say, 10%1 over a period of say, 5 years2. Also, people coming from reference is expected to increase over the years enabling the company to cut marketing costs elsewhere. 1The expected retention percentage is found either based on internal company data or industry undecomposed advice.
